The next deliveries from Purity Life (ONFC) will be on 16 October 2026, 13 November 2026, and 11 December 2026.

We also order from other suppliers as the need arises. We having upcoming orders from A&E Fine Foods and Organic Matters Foods. Members are notified via email for when these orders will be placed.

How to Order

We have recently developed our own online ordering system and are no longer using ONFC’s online ordering system. Once a month, you will receive an email reminder of the ordering dates. You can then order products from the various ONFC catalogues at the ONFC store.

If you have not yet ordered online, please send email to ebytownfood@proton.me to receive membership information and to set up your username and password.

We prefer payments made by E-transfer, but debit and cash payments are also accepted at the time of order pick-up.

Ordering from Purity Life (formally ONFC)

Once a month, we order online from ONFC/Purity Life. This supplier sells many grocery-store or health-food-store like items in bulk. We are limited to purchasing by the case and sometimes other members are interested in sharing in the case.

As of 2026, we now have a new ordering system in place that allows our members to order from ONFC/Purity Life without needing a separate ONFC account. Please contact us to get set up with an account.

You'll receive emails from the listserve confirming your membership and notifications of when the next order will be placed. Orders are typically due by the Wednesday of the week of ordering. Orders are delivered the Friday after the order is submitted. Orders will be delivered to 79 Joseph Street (Treehaus).

The listserve can also be used to see if any other members are wanting to share a case of something. Please be mindful of sending too many emails (only hit "reply all" if you truly want all the members to see your email). You can also check on the "cart" page to see if others have ordered something you might be interested in sharing with them. Then, you can reach out to them directly.

It's a good idea to always check the clearance and on-sale categories. There's often some pretty sweet deals! Be cautioned though. Clearance and on-sale items often have limited supplies. ONFC files orders on a first come first serve basis - always look at the number in stock listed with the item. Also, please make sure you are reading the catalogue correctly, sometimes the discount may apply only to a certain number of cases.

Member invoices are emailed out on the Friday of delivery. There is a membership fee (10% for working members, 20% for regular members) to support the co-op expenditures. Payment is made through interact e-transfer to the email address on the invoice. Please only pay in exact amounts.

We are moving away from facilitating regular bulk orders from other suppliers, and are instead stocking their products in our store so that members can come in and shop for the food they want in smaller quantities. We will still organize the occasional bulk order as a group, however these will be less frequent.

For these bulk orders: The price lists will be sent out via email, along with information about when the order is due and when it will be delivered. These suppliers often sell in large quantities, so coordinating splitting is done through the email list serve, or through a spreadsheet. Deliveries, pickups , and invoicing is the same as with ONFC. If you are splitting an order with other people, it is helpful if you can come to Treehaus to help with the dividing process.
